Tagg Romney, the eldest son of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will visit Ashe and Watauga counties Thursday morning, according to the Republican National Committee.

Romney, a managing partner at Solamere Capital, will join members of the agriculture community at a Fleetwood Christmas tree farm before traveling to the Dan’l Boone Inn in Boone for a breakfast from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with Young Americans for Romney. 

The Fleetwood meeting is not open to the public, according to North Carolina Victory Communications Director Rachel Adams, but the Boone appearance is open.
