Letters to The Rocket: June 25 concert at First Baptist will benefit cancer patient

Janey Campbell, a native of Blowing Rock, was diagnosed with stage four cancer. She has been enduring months of chemo and radiation treatments.
The Campbell family has been struggling financially due to medical bills, the cost of traveling back and forth for treatment in Winston-Salem and she has been unable to work.
We would like to ease the burden of this weight that bears on their heart. We hope that you will join us to offer love, encouragement and grace for Janey and her family, Christopher, who just graduated from eighth-grade at Blowing Rock School, and her husband of 25 years, Patrick.
A benefit concert for Janey Campbell will be held at the First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 25. The event is free and a love offering will be passed around to help the Campbell family.
The First Baptist Church’s band, Glory Road, will perform.
If you cannot attend but would like to help, you may send your checks to First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock, c/o Janey Campbell, P.O. Box 3, Blowing Rock, N.C.  28605.
Make the check payable to First Baptist Church; in memo write Janey Campbell.
