Roswita Hoffman 'Roz' Fisher

Roswita Hoffman "Roz" Fisher, age 91, of Chestnut Hill Village, Blowing Rock, passed away Thursday morning, May 1, 2014, at the Davant Rehab & Extended Care Facility in Blowing Rock.  She was born May 11, 1922, in Bremen, Germany. Roz was an inspiration to all who knew her.  She was a wife, mother and grandmother who dearly loved her family, was an avid nature lover, and was happiest when tending her garden.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by two sons, James Fisher and wife, Anne, of Blowing Rock; and Michael Fisher and wife, Paula Richman, of Oberlin, Ohio.  Two grandchildren, Noah and Emily Fisher, and one great-grandson, Elias Fisher also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Services for Roswita Roz Fisher will be conducted at a later date.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Blowing Rock Garden Club, PO Box 2673, Blowing Rock, NC 28605.
