Janey Robbins Campbell, 48, of 537 Astor Cook Road, Blowing Rock, died Wednesday evening, July 27, 2011, at her home.
Janey was born June 17, 1963, in Watauga County, a daughter of the late Jack and June Robbins. She was an eye specialist for Wal-Mart Vision Center and a member of First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock.
Janey is survived by her husband, Patrick C. Campbell, of the home; and one son, Christopher Ryan Campbell, of the home. She is also survived by a number of aunts and cousins.
A celebration of Janey's life will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Blowing Rock. Officiating will be the Rev. Rhonda Gailes and the Rev. Rusty Guenther.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, at the church, prior to the service.
