Helen Gragg Smith McLean

Helen Gragg Smith McLean, 93, of Mooresville and Blowing Rock, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.
She was born on May 22, 1920, in Watauga County, N.C., to the late John W. and Leona Hatley Gragg.
Mrs. McLean worked many years as a nurse and retired from Blowing Rock Hospital. She was a member of Mooresville ARP Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred Vernon Smith and Webb Arnold McLean; and brothers, Earl Gragg and Richard Gragg.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Smith and wife, Gail, George Smith, Christine Stormer and husband, Rex; stepchildren, Rick McLean and wife, Judith, Jimmy McLean and wife, Joyce, Ron McLean and Carl; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Mooresville ARP Church with the Rev. Andy Ward and the Rev. Gerald Hallman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mooresville ARP Church and Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County.
