Anna Marie Runnè
Anna Marie Runnè, 26, died due to injuries sustained in a four-wheeler accident on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in Tennessee.
Anna was born in Buncombe County to Ann Marie Henry and Andre Runnè.
Anna had a zest for life and deeply loved all those she came in contact with. She enjoyed working in interior design, had been in modeling for many years and was a licensed real estate broker. She was a hard worker and even loved working with her dad at his heating company while growing up. She also loved her dog, Fluffball, treasure hunting, and giving her time at the pet adoption agency "Friends for Life" in Boone. She was beautiful inside and out and will be missed by all who knew her.
Anna is survived by her father, Andre Runnè of Asheville; her mother, Ann Marie Henry of Burnsville; a sister, Sandra Ann Stewart of Pensacola, Fla.; a half-sister, Michelle Sneed of Clyde; two half-brothers, Andre Runnè Jr. of Asheville and Peter Ricco of Weaverville; grandmothers, Margaret E. Runnè of Weaverville, and Sandra A. Henry of Florida; aunt and uncle, Dan and Hilary Manion of Weaverville; uncles, Brian Runnè, Peter Runnè, Edward Henry and Robert Henry; her Aunt, Robin Cane of Florida; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
A funeral service was held at the Lake Julian location of the Groce Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, with the Rev. Michael Brown, the Rev. Wade Zachary and the Rev. Bob Chuprevich officiating. Burial followed at Riverside Cemetery in Asheville.
The family received friends prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
