White has served PD six years
By Capt. Aaron Miller
I was asked recently if I would continue to highlight our officers in the Brief Sheet so that our citizens could get to know our officers and staff and put names with faces.
So, this week I selected Officer Dan White.
Dan is a veteran law enforcement officer with nearly 13 years of service. He has worked for the Blowing Rock Police Department for six years. Dan came to Blowing Rock with experiences from Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Avery County Sheriff’s Office, Elk Park Police and Beech Mountain Police.
He has lived in the High Country for 30 years, is married and has two adult sons and two stepdaughters and one stepson. During his off time, Dan servers as a pastor, a calling that he has enjoyed for 28 years.
Dan currently serves as patrol officer II and field training officer at the police department.
