14th annual WinterFest

Participants in Blowing Rock’s annual Polar Plunge jump into the 45 degree water of Chetola Lake Jan. 28, helping to raise funds for Wine to Water, a project aimed at bringing safe, clean water to people around the world. This plunger, decked out in blue, jumps as safety personnel in the water watch. The plunge was part of Blowing Rock’s WinterFest Jan. 26-29.  Photo by Rob Moore
